✷ TERMS OF SERVICE

We define the following terms:

"Voicebank(s)" refers to the collection of vocal recordings and accessory files that allow for use in OpenUTAU, UTAU, or other vocal synthesis software.
"Character" refers to the name, visual design, and concept of the Sumi Sider avatar that accompanies and characterizes the voicebank(s).
"Official art" pertains to any illustrations of Sumi Sider created by RUNEGOD.
"Indie" refers to small-scale for-profit ventures not belonging to or affiliated with a corporate label or company.
"Doujin" refers to fan ventures that sell original fan works to cover the cost of production, i.e. at no significant profit.

Attribution:

Any work utilizing the Sumi Sider vocal synthesis voicebanks requires attribution to 災堕スミ/Sumi Sider.
Unattributed or misattributed use is not permitted.
Attribution to RUNEGOD is not required.

Commercial usage:

Use of the Sumi Sider name, voicebanks, and character is permitted for independent/indie commercial projects, doujin works, and non-commercial purposes.
Use of Sumi Sider for non-indie commercial ventures requires explicit permission from RUNEGOD.
Use of official art is permitted for non-commercial work only.
Involvement of the Sumi Sider character or voicebank with cryptocurrency ventures, including NFTs, is disallowed.

Editing, reconfiguration, and redistribution:

Voicebank files, including but not limited to recording .wav files and accessory (e.g. oto.ini) files, may be freely edited.
The Sumi Sider voicebank may be freely edited, converted, or reconfigured for use in synthesizing software other than OPENUtau or UTAU.
Raw voicebank files may be used, edited or unedited, in music production, pending proper attribution.
Using voicebank data or files to train artificial intelligence (AI) for the explicit purpose of vocal synthesis requires permission from RUNEGOD.
Unauthorized mass redistribution or derivation of voicebanks is not permitted, unless official distribution has ended.
Peer-to-peer sharing of voicebanks is allowed.

The following types of content are unconditionally prohibited:

Criminal or illegal content
Explicit underage sexual content, including works using the labels "shota / shotacon" or "loli / lolicon"
Bigotry, hateful, and defamatory content
Attempts to impersonate real person(s)
Violations of UTAU's Usage Policy
